		<description>Unless you're correcting proofs, sometimes a reorganisation of the text is the best approach. For example, you could recast the final sentence: 'Come election time, however, as adults they are compelled to vote'. (I can't see which word you emphasised as the paragraph style has overridden the character style.)

I would argue that it's better to have the right word than a short one, but this is certainly a good rule to apply to commercial or bureaucratic writing that contains too much jargon.</description>
